Pranav took on the reins of his family business at the age of 19 due to some family emergencies and converted it into an export powerhouse of books and journals across the globe. He is a third generation entrepreneur and now the Managing Director at Prints Publications Private Limited. After having set new heights for his family business, he founded Buy Books India, which has not transformed as a repository of children’s books.
He is one of the youngest leader in the Indian publishing industry, who holds membership in the executive committees or directorship of several reputed organizations like Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP), Indian Reprographics Rights Organization (IRRO), Chemical and Allied Export Promotion Council of India (CAPEXIL), Afro-Asian Book Council (AABC) etc. He was one of the key people responsible for successful execution of International Publishers Congress, the premium annual global event of International Publishers Association (IPA) in India in 2018.
Pranav’s ability to identify upcoming trends is very well recognized in the industry. With that view, he has developed key expertise in the areas of Logistics, where he runs a successful operation providing logistics capabilities to other book-sellers as well.
Along with Logistics, Pranav identified the true potential of digital early in the lifecycle of that industry. He is now a Director in OMLogic Consulting Private Limited, which is one of the premium digital communications agency in India having large global brands like HBO, Lufthansa, Turner, Vivo etc s its customers. OMLogic has an expertise in digital marketing in the Indian segment specifically for education, non-profit (cause marketing) and lifestyle segment.
Pranav also has a key interest in Law and Legal issues. He is now recognized as an advisor on legal issues and workings. Pranav undertakes such advisory free-of-charge as his hobby. 🙂
Besides the serious stuff, he is a globetrotter who loves to explore horizons (literally). It must be clear by now, but to reiterate it, Pranav Gupta has an unbounded love for books. It is his love for books which got him so far, so quick!
